Mt. Pinatubo Trekking Tarlac Pampanga Philippines

“Pinatubo” means “made grown” in Tagalog and the local dialect of the area, the "Sambal" and an indigenous group of hunter-gatherer people called "AETA". On June 15, 1991, Mt. Pinatubo erupted. The eruption lasted for 9 hours and caused several earthquakes which resulted in the collapsed of summit. To add to the horrendous suffering of the people of Central Luzon, the area was hit by a typhoon passing close to the volcano which triggered massive lahar – a lethal mudflow that is composed of pyroclastic materials and water that flowed through the river valleys of the mountain. Today, Mt. Pinatubo’s serene cyan-colored crater lake, canyons made of pyroclastic materials, and the growing tropical rain forest canopy covering part of its slopes are a mute testament to its recent explosive past. There are many things that I want to share about this awesome journey and I will start with the most important. First off, this trek is not recommended for children under the age of 13 or 14 years, pregnant women or for the physically challenged. It is quite strenuous as you are walking and climbing up to 5 miles through water, rock and forest & the 4X4 ride was extremely bumpy as we went through holes, grooves and uncontrolled terrain for 30 minutes each way. We found it to be an enjoyable challenge however we were pretty worn out by the end of the return back to jump off point.

La Vista Resort Pansol, Calamba Laguna Philippines

A getaway place from the noisy city...nature lover should come here. I enjoyed the pool so much, especially wave pool. Have the time of your life at the resort's prime feature. the "Wet & Wild" water slide, five levels of world class water slides giving you thrills with splash and the "Enchanted Volcano" where you can experience swimming in a covered swimming pool, the only one of it's kind in the area. Take a refreshing snack in the Tree house of Pantalan by the pond.

"Zoobic Safari" Subic Zambales Philippines

Zoobic Safari is located in the Subic Bay Freeport Zone Group 1, Ilanin Forest, Subic Freeport Zone. Words can’t explain our summer experience at the one and only Tiger Safari in the Philippines, the Zoobic Safari. Although quite a small facility it provided the opportunity to see wild animals close up in a safe environment. So, let me just show you some photos from our Zoobic Safari experience.

"Kamay ni Hesus Shrine" Lucban Quezon Philippines

It was very crowded and hot that time that we didn’t have energy left to climb the steps all the way up. So we just have to take some photos as a souvenir. If you’re going to visit this place make sure it’s in a weekday to avoid the crowd. Long before Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church became a popular pilgrimage site, Dolores Quezon has been a popular Holy Week destination of Lenten pilgrims and summer trekkers but for those who wants to avoid longer trek, Kamay ni Hesus Shrine in Lucban Quezon is now becoming an all year round destination for people who wants to attend the healing mass conducted in the chapel.
